Thanks for writing for me!
A few notes to start:
I sure do love a good world build, and this year that's a focus of the picks, as these are all 5 minute fandoms.
I like romance that is present but takes a back seat to friendship, or slow burns. I adore found family, and people being good parents. I like hurt comfort, and people taking care of each other.
Happy endings only please. Do be as funny or as zany as you like. These songs are mostly already on the way to silly.
Do Not Wants:
AUs that change the setting or professions--high school AU, Coffee Shop AU types, modern set aus.
I absolutely do no want porn. Romance is fine, fade to black for the sex like you're on broadcast TV. No infidelity.
No non-canon character death, and definitely no killing either song heroine.
Please keep sexual violence to aired on TV levels too--in general think 'safe for network broadcast'.
Do not give any protagonist a problem with drugs or alcohol, or treat narcotic use for pain as bad.
Lady Isabel & the Elf Knight (Traditional Ballad):

Or Lady Margaret. Take your pick of their names, and take your pick of versions--"Lady Isabel & the Elf Knight" is what Child titled the set, so feel free to pick and choose from the 8 variants. Do include the parrot if you like. I really like that sassy parrot. How did she get a snarky parrot anyway? Do also keep her alive--there's the one where he does manage to kill her, my least favorite--but you don't have to have the knight dead if you want to play around with it.
If you want to do a bigger worldbuild, both Isabel and Margaret are names used in a lot of ballads. Are they the same? different?
Do they all meet for tea every other Tuesday with the rest of the ladies from ballads and complain about the men in their lives?

So, I'm in academia. I oversee a writing center, including all our citation guidance material university wide.I also deal with doctoral studies a lot. I have feelings on IRB and APA and everything.
What does IRB look like in a world where you fight the snake? How panicy are students over their AQR and APA review if a bad one means a venomous snake? Tell me the tales of academic minutia!
Lupin (TV 2021)
I love Assane so much. He's so perfectly a gentleman thief. I'd love to learn more about how he got all the skills we see.
I've only asked for Assane to keep things open: I liked Claire, if you want to keep to canon ships. I really liked both Ben and Youssef. How is Ben dealing with the events of season 3?
Youssef is intrigued and fascinated by our thief, in the long tradition of upstanding detectives being a bit charmed by dashing rouge thieves. There are all kinds of ways for Assane to flirt with him too. Youssef also seems the sort to bend the law a bit to be morally right when the law is wrong. How does he feel finally catching his thief?
If you're crossover inclined:
There's a fine tradition of phantom thieves teaming up. How would Assane do crossing paths with Neal Caffrey? Or the Leverage crew, who would probably have a high five for him for the rich guy take down (Assane & Hardison: BFFs?). Also amusing would be Lupin III and his crew, or Kaito Kid (either Kaitou or his parents, Chikage was a French thief to start). Assane should come out on top of course, it's his story. Also fun would be Assane vs. a detective from my other fandoms. For a more concrete prompt: Assane got so skilled by training with other phantom thieves.
